A small plane carrying Rio Tinto mining company workers crashed near Fort Smith in Canada's remote Northwest Territories during a flight to the Diavik diamond mine. As reported by Reuters on Wednesday, January 24 2024, this accident killed several people on board the plane. There were no details on how many people died or how many were on board.
